Israeli Air Force planes attacked a terrorist target in Gaza tonight.
Palestinians have reported that that one person was killed and two were
wounded. Apparently, the attack came after a red alert sounded earlier
in the western Negev.
Last month, the IAF attacked multiple
targets in response to rocket attacks on the Negev. The IDF Spokesperson
announced in a message that the IAF identified precise targets. A
rocket launcher was hit in the central Gaza Strip along with a terrorist
target in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Every aircraft that
participated in the attack returned safely to their bases.
"The attack took place after a high trajectory of repeated fire…by Hamas in recent days," the IDF said in February. "The IDF takes all firing at Israeli territory very seriously and will continue to act with determination against anyone who is involved terror against the State Israel."
